FOGG Alert – March 1, 2009
The Northeast Waterfront Advisory Group (NEWAG) will meet on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
The meeting will be held at the Port of San Francisco Office, Pier 1, Embarcadero at Washington Street, Bayside 1 Conference Room.
This meeting has only one major item on the Agenda:
Discussion of Proposed Development for Seawall Lot 351: 8 Washington Mixed-Use Project (Continued conversation from February 8 meeting)
We are sure the discussion will also be a follow-up to last Tuesday’s Port Commission meeting where the SF Port approved an Exclusive Negotiation Agreement (ENA) with San Francisco Waterfront Partners (Simon Snellgrove) for Seawall Lot 351 and the Golden Gateway Tennis & Swim Club site. We also expect the discussion to include the proposed planning review of the Waterfront Land Use Plan under the direction of the SF Planning Department.
This is another opportunity for our FOGG friends and supporters to express their concerns and opinions on the future of open recreational space in our neighborhood and its benefits for the entire City.
We strongly encourage you to attend and speak. The more people we have on the record, the better.
Look forward to seeing you there.
