8 WASHINGTON STREET DEVELOPMENT – MEETING SCHEDULE UPDATE
We want to update you on the upcoming 8 Washington Street/Seawall 351 proposed development meeting schedules.
Here is some good news. Cooler and more sensible heads have prevailed.
The Board of Supervisors Budget & Finance Subcommittee scheduled for Wednesday, May 16, 2012 – just one hour after the SF Port Commission had scheduled their meeting on the 8 Washington/SWL351 project approval and Public Trust land exchange – HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED. The new date is Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
Further, the Board of Supervisors Land Use & Economic Development Committee (Supervisors Mar, Cohen and Wiener) will meet on Monday, June 4, 2012 about the 8 Washington Street/Seawall Lot 351 proposed development.
That SF Port Commission hearing on Wednesday, May 16th for project approval and land exchange has ALSO HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED. The new date is Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
As of this writing the Board of Supervisors will still meet on the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) & Conditional Use Permit (CUP) this Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 4:00pm, City Hall, Room 250.
FOGG asks that as many of our supporters as possible be at this hearing early as we expect a large crowd.
We will provide more information on the May 29th, June 4th and June 6th meetings when it becomes available and has been confirmed.
See you on Tuesday and thanks to everyone for their continued support.
