FOGG ALERT – July 8, 2012

PETITION DRIVE – SATURDAY’S RALLY

We are pleased to report that many of our supporters were at Saturday’s Rally.  We are also pleased to report that new people have joined the cause, and we thank them.

There are only 10 days to go to gather signatures of registered San Francisco voters before the deadline.

We need your help now.  Please join our effort.

Please see this following message from Aaron Peskin about the Saturday Rally.

Friends,

This morning, our coalition of neighbors, tenants, seniors, and environmentalists rallied together to give the people of San Francisco one last chance to stop the reshaping of San Francisco’s historic waterfront and the construction of more high-rise luxury condos for the 1%. We dispatched dozens of volunteers with petitions and crept even closer to our goal of 28,000 signatures by July 19th. If you weren’t there for this incredible rally, you should have been.

Special thanks to President of the Board David Chiu for coming out to support the fight, as well as candidate for District 5 Supervisor Julian Davis who pledged to collect 1,000 signatures to bolster our efforts.

But we need even more help.

If you have not already picked up your own petition to circulate, there is no more time to waste. Please, stop by the headquarters at 15 Columbus Avenue to pick yours up, or call the office at 415-894-7008 to make delivery arrangements.  Every day that you are not collecting signatures, we are losing ground.

Finally, the campaign website is up and running.  Check it out at www.NoWallOnTheWaterfront.com to learn more about the effort.

– Aaron
